Health Minister Dr. Chilufya Chitalu, has announced that all schools and colleges will this Friday close as a preventive measure to avoid any possible outbreak of the Corona Virus in the country.

Dr. Chitalu, was addressing the media in Lusaka together with other cabinet ministers stating that measures have been put in place to ensure that the country does not record any Covid-19.

He has urged the nation to remain vigil and report any possible outbreak that might arise.

And Dr Chitalu has announced that government through his ministry has trained over 580 health workers as “rapid responders” to any possible outbreak of the virus.
