US-based Zambian musician OC Oscillation yesterday donated assorted food items to 24 families in Lusaka’s John Laing compound, as part of his effort to help people especially the elderly stay home during the Covid19 pandemic.

Minister of Gender Elizabeth Phiri was on hand to appreciate grace the handover to mostly aged women and called on other Zambian musicians, locally or living abroad to emulate OC who despite living miles away, thought of sharing his fruits of success with the underprivileged.

OC said he understands the impact Covid19 posses especially the under privileged, hence the reason to donate the food which would keep the few families secure and away from crowded places as cases of the coronavirus now rise further.

OC further donated reusable face masks to the recipients saying the cost of surgical masks was unbecoming and deprived the underprivileged chance to easily buy and wear to protect themselves.
