Local music act Dalisoul Mwana Wamukombini, has encouraged upcoming artists in Zambia to invest more in their music in order to enjoy the benefits.

ZED GOSSIP, reports that he posted on Facebook saying sharing songs via Bluetooth and WhatsApp only can never help upcoming artists. But stressed that need for them to use various websites and feature other upcoming artists for them to be known.

He says those with pride will never become successful hence the need for them to support each other.

He wrote”Dear Upcoming Artists? Here is a piece of advice ?
The music industry is open for all, but only those who work extra hard will benefit in this industry.. Music is like a bank account you can only withdraw when you deposit something in your account.. In music input is more important than expecting people to help or sponsor you.. Work on a song with powerful content and push it to the top…sending songs on Bluetooth , WhatsApp is not the only way of promoting.. Put your songs on several websites, submit them to radio stations and to club DJs..
As an artist you can’t be a manager, promoter and DJ at the same time..
Support other peoples music and they will support you, reduce pride and be humble don’t think you are already their before your time, feature your fellow upcoming artists without charging them any money.. Cause you are still trying to have a fan base within your area..don’t create enemies within your fellow upcoming artists..
Work hard in silence..
