A 23 year old first year student at Evelyn Hone College has committed suicide at the college.

According to Police Deputy Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga, Wezi Nyirenda, an Environmental Health student was discovered dead at around 05:00hrs on Tuesday morning.

Police suspect he took some drugs to take his life as his body had no injuries.

Nyirenda who was squatting with a friend in Tanzania Hostel room 15 was last seen at the college premises on Saturday morning and only spotted on Monday at around 17:00hrs.
His last Facebook post read “so long everyone…till we meet again…..loved u all …”

The body has since been taken to University Teaching Hospital Mortuary awaiting Postmortem.
