Local hip hop artist Trey Jones, says his music is totally different from other Zambian hip hop artists.

Speaking in an interview with ZED GOSSIP, Trey Jones disclosed that in Zambia many artists lack good music skills because they sing the same songs which are similar in soo many ways.

He says from the time he became a member of the JA Crew a music movement which aims at promoting and supporting local artists he has realised the fact to be different and skillful in order to be on the top of the game.

He adds that he has been criticized before but maintains still didn’t give up on what he loves doing.

“We lack support in Zambia, no one wants to see the neighbor succeed. This is the thing that has gone to bigger artists” he said.

He has appealed to music fans to be wary and identify artists who will kee the industry going unlike those with hatred.
He further thanked the JA Crew for the support adding that his dream is coming to reality of becoming bigger in the industry.

Trey Jones started music at the age of 11 when he used to listen to country music which was his father’s favourite genre.
