The National Arts Council of Zambia has announced that Zambia’s most celebrated music awards “Ngoma Awards” will be reintroduced this year.
NAC Board Chairman Patrick Samwimbila made the announcement in Lusaka on Tuesday during a media briefing.
He disclosed that 2019 is the year of arts and artists in Zambia deserve to be rewarded.
The Ngoma Music Award used to be an annual Zambian music award ceremony which recognizes the nation’s musical talent. The awards are sponsored by the National Arts Council of Zambia.
