Overzealous self proclaimed world famous radio DJ Mutale Mwanza has shamefully apologized to Prime TV Zambia management and staff for calling them unethical during a DJ shift.

Mwanza is alleged to have on Monday called on the Independent Broadcasting Authority IBA to close Prime TV after two of its journalists were harrassed by PF secretary general Davies Mwila, an allegation she denies.

Mwanza was summoned to a Journalists Zambia WhatsApp group after her rantings where she said sorry and admitted being overzealous and too excited as she could have used better words to express her disregard towards Prime TV.

She posted the message below which has been sent to Zed Gossip by insiders…

“Hope you are all well. I asked Cynthia to add me back to his group so that I could apologize to Prime TV journalists that I offended. I however , DID not at any point say what the SG did was right towards the prime tv journalist.
I DID however call prime tv unethical by citing an example that was out of context from the situation that was being discussed ( dead bodies appearing on tv without a graphic warning disclaimer ).
I believe there was a way I would have put my point across without offending the station.
I apologize.
I hope you can accept my sincere apology ??” Mutale Mwanza wrote.

But Prime TV Executive Editor Mwape Kumwenda said the institution has not received any official apology from Mutale Mwanza or her paymasters at Hot FM.

“I have read the apology to prime tv..but am not aware whether it relates to her insults yesterday or her remarks during a love program” Kumwenda said.

Mutale hosts a Hot FM breakfast 3 hour show where she exaggerates living a lavish lifestyle, traveling world over, in an attempt to compete with her workmate Hope Chishala who drives big cars bought for her by the rich husband Chomba Kaoma.
