JA Crew member and CEO Oscar Simpungwe best known as Ziggy, says Zambian music has grown big and that many people have come to appreciate the art.

He says way back people never used to listen to Zambian music which is now different today. He says it is good that many local people want to see more of Zambian music unlike international artists at different shows because Zambian music has grown big.

In an interview with ZED GOSSIP, Ziggy disclosed that having started music in the early 2000 he has managed to work with guys like Stevo, Tsean, Tyce, Unique, Drifta Trek and many others. He says artists in Zambia are appreciating and supporting each other which is making local music be known on an international scene.

He adds that he is currently working on a new project which fans should expect anytime soon.

“Our music has grown big. Many of our local artists are supporting each other and this is making us get to have much respect on an international scene. Of we continue with this spirit trust me Zambian artists will be banging awards everytime from big media houses such as the BET Awards or even MTV Awards” he said.
