An online store called ZASIK Enterprise Limited (Zasik Global) was in November 2020 launched with the aim of allowing Zambians in the Diaspora to purchases household products and goods for their family and friends back home.

The company operates a doorstep delivery service within Lusaka, Kafue, Copperbelt and Chipata and is a Covid birthed business.

Managing Director Monde Zama says Zasik global is a Zambian registered business that employs Zambians with little to no experience as all they need is a driving license and the willingness to learn about how the processes work.

She adds that to celebrate the launch of the business the company gifted x17 hampers to Njira Youth Skills Centre and have had various competitions.

“After the Launch, some people were moved by the video testimonials and have pleaded to purchase recurring hampers for people in need. Our direct messages have been filled with various requests and we shall look into getting hampers to people that need them” she says.

Meanwhile, Zama says the platform uses Stripe and PayPal secure services to allow the customer to feel safe when using the website.

“We are targeting the diaspora and people who need to send groceries to a family in good times and in bad times such as Boarding Schools hampers when starting school, which can last a whole term and we operate a next day funeral hamper service. Bespoke Hampers are available on request with a minimum order of £40. The platform uses Stripe and PayPal secure services to allow the customer to feel safe when using the website” she disclosed.
